Yoobi and Yasiel Puig Team Up To Distribute School Supplies

Over 700 elementary students at Euclid Avenue Elementary school in East Los Angeles received free Yoobi school supplies at a back-to-school give event on Tuesday.

Yasiel and Yoobi Chief Giving Officer Justin Wolff hosted a pep-rally during an assembly to get the kids excited about the new school year. During the rally, a student was recognized with the “Yoobi Changemaker Award” for outstanding achievement as a young leader positively impacting their community.

About Yoobi Yoobi is a school, home and office supplies company that believes all kids should have equal opportunity to learn and be creative. Since launching in 2014, Yoobi has operated on a "buy one, give one" model – for every item purchased, Yoobi donates a product to a U.S. classroom in need. Yoobi’s non-profit partner, The Kids in Need Foundation, defines “need” as elementary school classrooms in schools where 70 percent or more of its students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. To date, Yoobi has donated essential school supplies to over 3 million U.S. students and is aiming to impact over 1 million kids in this school year.
